Is The HPV Vaccination Shot Safe?

Is the HPV vaccine good or bad?
The HPV vaccine does not treat existing cases of HPV. It also does not prevent all types of strains of the HPV virus. It protects only certain types of HPV and not the most severe ones.

What Are My Treatment Options For HPV?
What are signs of HPV genital warts?
Most people who get genital wart-associated HPV types clear the infection rapidly without ever developing warts or any other symptoms. Those who do get genital warts usually will see a small white collection of cells (like a skin tag) somewhere on or around the penis or vagina. HPV types that cause genital warts are not always the same as the ones that cause cervical cancer. Keep in mind, though, that a person can be infected with several types of HPV including more severe types which can potentially cause cancer.
Women:
The Symptoms of HPV are generally picked up when a PAP smear is performed.
Men:
The Symptoms of HPV are generally small visible warts on or around the penis.
However HPV warts can appear on hands, feet, on the penis and inside the vagina. Most women will find out if they have genital HPV when they receive a negative result on their PAP smear. Symptoms of HPV on men are easier to spot as men will see small (generally white) warts on the penis.
