What are signs of HPV genital warts?
Most people who get genital wart-associated HPV types clear
the infection rapidly without ever developing warts or any other
symptoms. Those who do get genital warts usually will see a
small white collection of cells (skin tag) somewhere on the
penis or vagina. HPV types that cause genital warts are not
always the same as the ones that cause cervical cancer. Keep
in mind, though, that a person can be infected with several
types of HPV including more severe types which can potentially
cause cancer.
